Saint Basil Academy thanks Accelerated Financial Solutions for their support
HAMPTON ROADS, VA., November 7, 2008 ─ Saint Basil Academy, a national not-for-profit philanthropic center of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, today publically thanked Accelerated Financial Solutions (AFS) for the company’s support and financial donations.
Saint Basil Academy, founded over 63 years ago, provides love, shelter, food, education, protection and a home for orphans, children of chronically ill or destitute parents and children from broken homes.
In a letter from Evan Whitson, Saint Basil Academy’s Director of Development, he thanks AFS executives and employees for their “love, support and significant financial contributions” and for being “there to answer the call” when Saint Basil Academy needed assistance.
Whitson writes that AFS’s generosity not only helped change the lives of children in need but also reflected the company’s “compassion and strength in this damaged economic time.”
